Literacy Skills

In Literacy skill we will focus initially on Pre-writing strokes wherein they will practise the different type of lines for better hand-eye coordination and firm grip on the pencil which will make writing of alphabets easier for the little ones.
1. Standing lines & Sleeping lines
2. Left and Right Slanting lines
3. Left, Right, Up and Down curve
In Literacy skill we will be
1. Identifying, reading, writing and practising sounds of alphabets from Aa to Zz
2. Learning names of objects related to each letter and speak about it confidently.
3. Encouraging to listen, communicate effectively with peers and teachers.
4. Matching uppercase with the corresponding lowercase.
5. Reading and spelling two letter words clearly.
6. Listening and appreciating different type of moral stories read or shown by the teachers as an AV.

Numeracy Skills

In Numeracy skill we will be
1. Comparing, estimating, differentiating objects as same and different, big and small, tall and short, few and many, up or down, heavy and light on the basis of similarities and differences.
2. Understanding the method of counting, writing numbers upto 100.
3. Observing, comparing and completing a given pattern.
4. Filling missing numbers in appropriate blanks in a given set of numbers.
5. Identifying, matching, naming, sorting, writing and colouring different type of shapes.
6. Reading and spelling number names upto 20.

General Awareness

In General Awareness we will be
1. Knowing different parts of body.
2. Identifying, naming and understanding the importance of different family members and their home as a shelter.
3. Talking about their special day i.e. their birthday
4. Learning about their school and its rules also.
5. Identifying and naming the different-parts of plants, fruits, vegetables and animals.
6. Knowing importance of good manners and habits in real life.

Physical Education

In Physical Education we will be
1. Using different tools to learn balancing on different body parts such as hands, knees, elbows etc.
2. Involving students in running, hopping, jogging, climbing and also sliding.
3. Engaging them in physical exercises.
4. Moving body parts specially hands for games like target games.
5. Exhibiting body movements in rhythm to music.
6. Engaging in football for free body movement.

Art and Colouring

In Art and Colouring we will be
1. Engaging in free scribbling and colouring on different type of papers independently and pasting strings on papers.
2. Printing with the help of cotton bud and make meaningful structure.
3. Involving in colour mixing and encouraging them to say their favourite colour.
4. Creating new structures with their coloured palm print on paper.
5. Making Collage using different type of leaf and finger printing, vegetable printing and explore their creative skills by Paper printing & spray painting
6. Preparing artworks of fruits and vegetable using Vegetable printing.

Rhymes and Songs

In Rhymes and songs we will encourage students to sing the following rhymes with fun, happiness, rhythm and clear pronunciation.

4. Reading, spelling and writing two and three letter words having vowels clearly.
5. Listening and appreciating different type of moral stories read or shown by the teachers as an AV.

Numeracy Skills

In Numeracy skill we will be
1. Developing the concept of one more or less and find out the corresponding number that comes after, before and between upto 50.
2. Observing, comparing and completing patterns.
3. Reading, spelling and writing number names upto 50.
4. Comparing the value of different numbers and find out which one is more or less.

General Awareness

In General Awareness we will be
1. Knowing and understanding the importance of cleanliness of body and also surrounding.
2. Comparing different type of food taken by children in daily life and its health benefits or effects.
3. Naming and sorting different type of animals.
4. Identifying, naming and describing the different people who help us in daily life.
5. Understanding the safety rules to be followed at home, on the road and at the playground.

Physical Education

In Physical Education we will be
1. Spending 20 minutes of the day on physical exercises.
2. Involving students in outdoor playground session in the Trampoline independently for better coordination of body parts.
3. Using equipments like scooter, bicycle, hula hoop for physical balancing and movements.
4. Engaging in water volleyball and enjoying water activity with their peers.
5. Allowing free movement of body parts for throwing, catching a ball.
6. Engaging students in hitting a ball with bat freely.

Art and Colouring

In Art and Colouring we will be
1. Colouring different fruits and vegetables available in Autumn season.
2. Preparing Pencil shaving craft on paper.
3. Creating Blow painting in Art and craft book.
4. Colouring different type of paper cut outs of different shapes and place in a pattern.
5. Using recycled paper for preparing best wishes cards for festivals.
6. Colouring objects related to alphabets from A to L.

5. Reading, spelling and writing the names of atleast five common fruits, vegetables and things.

5. Understanding the concept of time i.e. week, month, year with respect to work.

Physical Education

In Physical Education we will be
1. Involving students in different type of ball games in the field.
2. Show different kinds of movements independently while jumping, hopping, running on particular pattern.
3. Encouraging students to run on one leg for short distance and also run without moving hands freely for the chocolate/ sweets.
4. Using equipments like basket ball and football for better coordinated movements and group work.
5. Involving in movement according to the rhythm of music for musical chair.
6. Exhibiting their creativity by modelling blocks individually.

Art and Colouring

In Art and Colouring we will be
1. Preparing whole class collage displaying the story “the jungle book”
2. Making different terrestrial animals using paper plates.
3. Using chocolate wrappers for making different type of structures.
4. Using marble paper for paper origami.
5. Foot printing on bedsheet.
6. Making Collage using different type of recycled materials.
7. Drawing and painting independently in drawing copy.
